Decreased butyrylcholinesterase and oxytocin levels versus increased dopamine levels in Advanced Alzheimer'sPatients: A Preliminary-Study

Aim: In this study, it was aimed to examine the serum levels of dopamine, oxytocin, and butyrylcholinesterase (BchE) enzyme activity in advanced Alzheimer's patients (AD). Material Method: For our preliminary a total 40 participants were included study. 20 consisted other made up control group. samples patient group, dopamine oxytocin measured by Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA) method, while BchE spectrophotometric method. Results: We found that AD group statistically lower than controls (p<0.01, p=0.027), whereas higher group(p=0.02). Furthermore, we analyzed there no significant correlation between parameters(p>0.05). Conclusion: Our results indicate decrease increase may have relationship with progression disease However, believe studies are needed larger numbers different AD.
